HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL MY AMERICAN READERS!! :)

Dinner with the cousins went off pretty well, I get to meet Beth, Timothy's girlfriend of about 2 years. The last time my cousins came to visit was about 3 years back when I had just turned 18. Now I'm turning 21... time really flies. We wanted to go to Japan together the last time but that actually never happened due to everyone's busy schedule and my cousins enrolling into Universities. Psst, both cousins got into prestigious universities in the UK! Amazing aint it?

Beth & Tim

 I recall the last time when Timothy came to Singapore he was not even dating yet, and will look forward to "dog walking" dates with Beth because he really likes her... so cute! But evantually they went out and went to prom together. I'm really envious of the prom custom overseas.

In places like the UK or US, PROM is like the ONE THING everyone looks forward to in the entire school life. You get to rent limousines, wear tuxedos, dress up like a princess and someone asking you out to prom is like SO MUCH FUN.

Unlike Singapore, prom is just a get together, dressing up, and going home afterwards. NO PROM PARTNERS, NO COOL RIDES, NO DANCE FLOOR. Which is so so so sad! :(

And in this picture, Sherman the Dong actually didnt realise that it was on "SOFTening mode" which ended up all cutesy and dreamy, which is quite lame for a group photo! Noooooo :(

Gonna take my cousins to real shopping districts and perhaps to a club next week. Toodles!
