Asus Padfone Launch @ Chijmes

I've been to Chijmes so many times in my lifetime, but never once did I get a chance to walk into the grand hall of that place. Always peeking through the window like a little girl wanting to get to the other side of the glass frame. Well today happens to be my lucky day. After visiting a "club" in the morning, I am given a chance to attend the unveiling of the latest breakthrough innovation in the market, the Padfone by Asus.

 Before more pictures, I want to explain that the Padfone is a phone, a tablet, and a netbook all together.But the base operating system would be the phone itself. So without the phone, neither tablet nor netbook will be available. But I have to say that it is a brilliant idea. I know it's really confusing, but actually it is not!

I watched the video on their Padfone official website, and IT IS NOT EXAGGERATING at all! Check it out! I actually tested it out myself and I am officially sold!



In case those of you who didn't want to watch the video :

The smartphone can be "inserted" in a slot on the tablet. And whatever you are doing on your phone earlier on will be transferred to the big screen of a tablet. Even videos you are watching halfway will resume the way you left it on the big screen of the tablet. (AMAZING RIGHT?)

To make it into a netbook, it comes with a keyboard acting as a dock that you can "insert" your tablet into. which enabled the keyboard usage. (Okay la this one quite normal, but think about the 3 in 1 thing as a whole!

Before I forget, they even come with a stylus pen! Like in the James bond movie where u answer calls WITH YOUR PEN. You got that right, you can just click a button on the pen and speak into the pen-mic, and even listen to the other end of the phoneline, with just THE PEN!. (AMAZING!!!)

Thats a dummy phone on the right. The real phone is IN the tablet.

Before I end off the post, do you know that this phone last for at least TWO days even when you are ON THE PHONE continuously?? Oh my god! Where got such thing one hahaahah! But ultimately, I have to own one myself to actually believe it.

That's pretty much my day at Asus/Starhub launch event.

Nikon Coolpix S9300
Since I came from the Samsung event, I brought along the Nikon Coolpix S9300 to this event as well. I'm officially irritated at the quality under low light. As much as a love the exterior of the style camera, what I am looking for is more than just style alone. After two events, the pictures still came up unpredictably blur depending on luck despite myself changing to different settings to give it a chance. But yeah, perhaps its just me. Maybe I just got unlucky with the settings.
