She is a familiar face on the screens as well as a very successful business owner. But not to forget that her personality was bursting with humour and consideration. She is none other than Irene Ang! She presented us with a skit of being home and travelling overseas, as well as dancing a little to Oppa Gangnam Style. What a cool lady!
She left the press wanting more by the end of her performance but it was time to say goodbye to her and get back to the reason why I am invited to the press launch. High tea buffet was offered to the press while they opened the exhibition area for the media to play around with the equipment and snap photos of the yet to be released products.
Now back to work.
This launch was in collaboration with Microsoft, to launch the products that will be working with Windows 8 as it's base platform. Buying these products when it is on the shelves will come with Win 8. Making it like a partnership item in accordance to hp and Microsoft to attract more buyers.
The launch of these HP products this time, were mainly focused on it's function of wireless/not on the same network printing. You can now print your photos anytime as long as you email it to your printer. You can have more than one device connected to your gadget, perhaps one in the office and one at home, and still print it from any device as long as your printer is online. Lets take a look at some of these products.
Sure, with the touch technology taking the world by storm, it is not unusual that HP has decided to keep up with having an interactive interface in it's latest market. The sensitivity of the screen is good, that is without the consideration that the computer is currently close to having an empty hard drive. I'm not too sure what's going to happen when games or data start to fill in, and if it could sustain it's "non laggy" ness. But one thing's for sure, the touch screen photo editor is quite an amazing addition. You can now edit photos professionally on your PC with your finger tip. (Not sure if it's a good or bad thing for editors)
The only concern I have was the design of the products. Surely they are sleek and classy, but it does remind me of some other brand too... So I'm not too sure about this. But ultimately I'm just giving a first impression review of the Launch and who know's what is installed for the consumers by the time it's on shelves. Just wait!
Yup, lets end it with a photo of "my-hair-sucks-so-bad" me. :)
