Let's go a little higher: Halloween USS 2012

My Halloween this year was spent at USS for their yearly Halloween Horrors 2! It's been an exciting time last year with my girls from poly and the experience has been truely etched in my mind since then! Just to recap last year's halloween at USS.....I went with my poly friends, my beloved ones.

Venetia, Laura, Dan, Myself and TIffy.

Wanted to go together again this year, however, due to Tiffy's injuries, she is unable to go. And we are not going to risk it by going to an overly crowded amusement park. Next year okay sweeties?! :)

This year round, I went with a bunch of wildly annoying people who went to the same secondary school as I do. In case you're wondering, I was from Junyuan Secondary School. It's somewhere in the east, and quite a popular one nowadays I think... Considering the people that graduated out of school marking their places in society. (Ehh, I think one good example would be Ferlyn from SKARF? That really popular korean thingy)

But yeah, sorry for side tracking, the whole main point would be about Halloween at USS...

Myself, Edwiana and her Poly friend Hazel were the first few there, (because the rest were late) So as usual, the typical "camwhore" session has since commenced.

Decided to have dinner at the Malaysian Food Street right beside USS. I've been to USS a couple of times but I have never had any meals there cause I know that everything is way overpriced... But since I was hungry, and lazy to go anywhere else than here, I gave this place a shot!

Unsurprisingly, the place looks reallllllly good! In a traditional street food kind of way! It's almost like I've step to some other place lol. Now I sound like some sua ku...eh. But everything there is so not street food friendly oh man, hahahaha, had a super expensive prawn noodles from one of the stores with shorter queue.

Perhaps my tolerance level for hot stuff is quite low, but I managed to finish it after all! And Edwiana just have to take a photo of me with that weird face on.

Finally all of us were here and now I shall insert the typical "group" photo with everyone smiling and the regular "one person will have their eyes closed" photo. (Yes Edwin Kong, I am talking about you)

The queue to enter the place is insane, but it only took awhile before we were able to pass the gates. I have to say, the atmosphere was pretty intense considering that they were playing eerie "dolly" music at high volume and the constant buffering of smoke is making it harder to breathe. But hey, its Halloween.

The first section of the park was mainly about dolls and voodoos and curses. While the second section was mainly like... biohazard leakage or something LOL. So there were crazy zombies running around...

Third and last section that we went to is a place filled with egyptions and their curses and what not. Which is kinda cool because the entire place looks like a freaking bazaar right straight from Egypt.

FINALLY, THE HAUNTED HOUSES...

Went in to the first haunted house "Dungeon of Damnation" where its about some mad doctor or something torturing the patients...no photos were allowed so obviously there will be no visuals. We went in pairs...and I paired up with Clarence. Just in case you're confused at who Clarence is...

Damn, this haunted house was freaking scary. I think the reason why it's scary is because it was an indoor haunted house, and the distance in every room of the haunted house to the "ghost" and "scene" were really near to you. Did I mention it was indoor? So it's kinda... feels very claustrophobic when you're in the place. hahaha the funny part about me and my partner is that, HE IS ALSO SCARED LA HAHAHA. So we're BOTH SCARED TOGETHER... and I thought he was supposed to protect me lor wth!!

Oh! And throughout the entire freaking trial, some girl behind me keeps "SQUEEZING ME" in all places when she's scared ._. Seriously man, make me more scared only wtf.

Head over to the second haunted house, which features the CHINESE-ish ghost and their surroundings...lol.

As usual, our partners are the same for all the haunted houses...hahaha. Suay sia we both, kena a partner that is both scared... but for this haunted house...not very scary la, not scary at all actually.. LOL. Except that they tend to appear "suddenly" that can give you a surprise at times...

Third and last haunted house was the Insanitarium...A mental hospital...

HAHA, To be honest, this haunted house is SUPER FUNNY AND INTERESTING. We not only didn't have a scare in there, we just find it hilariously creative! There was a "toilet" area whereby you can see the urinals and toilet bowls.. and that place smelt like shit.. LITERALLY. HAHAHAHA. We were STUCK there for a good couple of minutes because the people in front were taking their time and almost died from STINKATION HAHAHA. Seriously, most memorable haunted house room ever.

Okay moving on.. we took the usual rides in USS... I don't think I need to explain anything because the rides are the same rides you can take or have taken.. LOL. We only took a few rides though, the mummy one, the two standard roller coasters... and thats it. We basically just spent $60bucks on 3 scare zones, 3 haunted houses and 3 rides... Well, thankfully we have express passes, or we won't be able to explore them all!
