Bella Box Event

After a week of intensive rest and crazy Portfolio building, I am finally allowed to REST, for real. Went to the Bella Box Blogger's event where they feature certain brands and introducing the BB team. The event was held at Wangz Hotel, somewhere located off Tiong Bahru Road and kinda of inbetween Outram. I had a hard time looking for it, but all is well since Denise decided to "pick me up"

The atmosphere of the place was a little empty, considering that it is an open air event space, and there were bloggers all around, but hardly anyone was mingling and talking to people they do not really know... Kinda miss the tech events, where everyone kinda know everyone in the tech press industry. But since I've decided to venture out to another field of expertise, I hope that my personality don't scare away people! (Haha!)

Outfit for the event!

I really can't help it, so me and Denise had to camwhore... regardless! But my hair was pretty shitty today, so let's just go with one picture for now...

Met a couple of lovely myfatpocket bloggers, who are so pretty, kind and sweet. (I mean, they actually bothered to entertain me la okay!) Had a couple of chats inbetween food intervals before the "main event" actually starts.

Giving her speech and the event begins!
The Bella Box event is basically just a platform for you to go around and test out and try various activities. Some include having "made up", while others are just sample try outs. Our first station to go do depends on what was given to us at the door on the "lipstick" pen.

CAUDALIE's first stop!
All Natural!

So off we go to the next station! Aveda! Well, they gave a talk on chakra and all the sensual balancing of your body. (Which I tried really hard to understand) But the bottomline is, apparently using Aveda will help sooth or relax yourself. I'm pretty sure this brand is known by everyone by now. But in case you don't do check them out on their facebook and website!  LINK

Chakra points
Yes, that's my fat hand.

Jocelyn at the AVEDA hair booth!
After a nice hand massage, we decided to go get pampered and "made up" by Elizabeth Arden's staff! Don't you just love their eye shadow colours?!

Pretty colours!
Denise was the first person to be experimented between us, which is a good thing. So here goes!

Before makeover!
After her sexy makeover!
Hehehehe, so pretty right? The purple is just stunning. Apparently it's one of their most popular colours right now! (The makeup artist told me) SOOO, my itchy backside decided to be "made" over too!!! (Sigh!)

Taking an act chio before shot (EW THE BLEMISHES)

Process...
Ok, I didn't finish the makeup thingy, or went along with it because I look horrible. I look like I'm punched in the eye severely and had to go to the hospital or something (I'm being dramatic) But after I see myself in the mirror, I threw a hissy fit and removed it on the spot... Oh well. But up next, we have a very pretty model at the BioDerma booth! She was there heavily made up so that they can promote their "makeup removal" Which really works like magic!

Oops, I realise that I didn't take many photos here, because larry was busy entertaining other people while I was so distracted by the staff. Cause the product sounded really good I was so tempted by it and wanted to just swoop down to guardian to get it! But thankfully they gave me a good amount of sample to try it out before I actually buy it... So lets see how things go! I will update!

The next stop we went was a hands on booth. We could make our own facial scrub! It was so much fun I tell you! It's a european brand, called PETRONILLE. You can check it out if you like! But they customize their facial products depending on the customer's condition. So oily skin and sensitive skin are two different things to them (Phew!)
Their shelf products
Looks yummy actually
You can check out the ingredients/formula
Tadah! Plus a nice and handy good bag!
And the most surprising and exciting activity of all, is MAKING YOUR OWN BELLA BOX! You can choose 5 items to put it in your box and tadah! It's yours, and for free!!!! Amazing right?! You normally have to pay 19.90/month for a box like this! But here is a sneak preview of ours tonight!

Pink and sexy!
Goodies along with a nice and timely "backdrop"
Denise's Bella Box!
I did not take mine because mine is quite similar to hers! But whatever it is, I absolutely love the event as it helps me break out of my "sick" shell of last week. And to all my readers, apologies for delaying STGCC post as well ACNES review. I have been so caught up lately with school work that I'm tearing myself apart. There were more photos of the other bloggers but it was taken by the professional photographer, so now all we can do is wait.

But here's a few photos to end the post!

She looks drunk, and insisted she want this shot.. ok.
^_^ Last pic!
