Recalling the crazy adventures I had when I was 17... That solo trip was really so much fun. But before I went for that trip, I made lots of effort to plan my itinerary to ensure that even though I was going alone, I am going to explore the fullest I can.
I hate unplanned itinerary. It's like not serving a purpose for being overseas. Which is pretty lame, cause my point of going overseas is to explore and making the best out of the limited time I have there.
One of my favourite places to go NEAR Singapore is actually Malaysia's Genting.
It's the closest place around the red dot to actually have NATURAL COOL CLIMATE. It kinda makes me feel like I'm in some kinda chio country like Europe. LOL.
But either way, Genting has loads of things to do even though its on the tip of a mountain. (Kinda) But like all trips, an itinerary should be planned so that you get the most out of your time there.
Here is my suggested itinerary,
Day 1 -
Departing early in the morning from Singapore, we will reach Genting near noon, almost close to lunch time, after all the checking in and settling down, its time to prepare for lunch!
2pm - Lunch
Restoran Hainan Kitchen ● Level 2, First World Plaza (LINK)
Everyone loves a plate of chicken rice. I think it would be really nice to have a nice lunch there to prep up our stomach for more fun things ahead!
4pm - Activities
Archery ● Level T2B, First World Plaza (LINK)
Haha! Not too long ago Nuffnang gave me tickets to watch the movie BRAVE! Which features a female archer. And now we can try out our shooting skills here! Seems like so much fun!
6.30pm - Dinner
The Olive ● Lobby Floor, Maxims Genting (LINK) |
9pm - Entertainment
Super Stars of Magic 2 ● Genting International Showroom (LINK)
End the night with an ongoing show that has draw many people to the crowd! The Magic show! I love Magic shows, they never fail to amaze me regardless! Some of the world's best known magicians are gonna be there, get ready to get your mind blown away!
Turn into bed after that crazy showcase!
DAY 2 -
Now after a great deal of sleep (hopefully), we will be able to finally experience amazing outdoor and indoor theme park! The best part is, it has fun games that is for everyone!
9am - Breakfast
The Bakery ● Lobby Floor, Maxims Genting (LINK) |
10am - FUN FUN FUN!
Theme Parks! (LINK)
This is the main thing of the trip man! The theme park! There is outdoor theme park and indoor theme park, all amazingly fun depending on what kinda rides you want to go for! I personally love the outdoor theme park because they had CRAZY COASTERS, and I love thrilling rides woohoo! Trust me, you can actually have so much fun you will even sometimes forget about lunch!
But in any case if you actually remember about lunch, head for a light meal as well, as you're gonna continue on that theme park adventure.
2pm - Lunch
Bubbles & Bites ● Level 2, Highlands Hotel (LINK) | |
Grab perhaps pizza shared among your friends so that your stomach would not be so bloated at the end of the meal. Nommzzzz! After that, continue playing! Maybe the indoor theme park as well. Haha! |
6.30 pm - Dinner
Resort Cafe ● First Floor, Resort Hotel (LINK) |
8pm - Shop around
A whole day of activities is kinda tiring and enough. Now its time to relax, talk a stroll, and check out for good bargains to purchase! Turn in early as it was a long day and tomorrow is time to go back home! (aww)
DAY 3 -
Last day!!!
9am - Breakfast
Eat breakfast at the hotel you are at! It is mostly BUFFET breakfast, so eat your fill, as you're going to head to the coach and go back home to SINGAPORE!!! So better eat well, so you can sleep well on the bus. Hahaha!
Well I hope I triggered your travelling bug! Heh!
